Prefers not to be in the spotlight, but getting on with the job at hand - however, a brief overview:-
- Has around thirty four years of work experience, primarily in the transport industry (road (eleven years) and aviation (seventeen years), but also includes exposure to the newspaper, paint manufacturing and distribution, clothing manufacturing and distribution, as well as a number of other industries.
- Roles and responsibilities have been broad and included positions as: a bread-carter, stenography, private secretary, state manager, national administration manager, assistant airport manager, and airport operations manager - also an aerodrome reporting and works safety officer (AR&WSO). All providing skills and experience in organisation, administration, bookkeeping and finance, payroll and human resources, contract negotiations, tendering, enterprise bargaining agreement, major account liaison, insurance, operational management, and compliance.
Great experiences and loads of skills beneficial in supporting others to achieve their business goals.
- Education/Qualifications/Training have included, a Commerce Degree (majoring in Accounting, Company Law, and eCommerce), Diploma (Environmental Management), Certificate (Computing, Secretarial, Bookkeeping) and a wide variety of professional development training to increase knowledge as well as maintain an awareness of current trends.
Is an associate member of the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA Australia). A condition of membership is ongoing professional development - providing confidence to customers of continuous learning, competency and skill level. Am also a Registered BAS Agent.
- The Business concept for AIBSS was conceived in observing a lack of administrative compliance knowledge and expertise (in small business as well as with aerodrome operators whose core business is not aerodromes) and the potential to provide a service to meet the needs of those enterprises.
When enterprises operate efficiently and are financially stable, they are more likely to contribute to the communities in which they are located, through employment or development. Such communities provide opportunities for its youth, families and its future - part of the vision for Associates in Business Support Services.
